The plain-English version

How Daykit works and what it promises. Last updated 3 October 2026.

Who we are

Daykit is a set of online tools made by Everyday Office Consulting Inc ("EOCO"). Questions about anything here: [email protected].

Estimates, not advice

The tools help you work things out: real hourly costs, quotes, job lists and expense approvals. They are not legal, tax, payroll or accounting advice. Always check the numbers before you rely on them, and talk to a professional for anything important.

Your account and your firm

Keep your password to yourself and sign out on shared computers. A firm's owner decides who joins the firm and what each person can see and do in each tool. Whatever someone does in a firm stays with that firm.

Your information

What you type into Daykit is stored so the tools can work, and only the people your firm allows can see it. We don't sell it. If you would like your account or your firm's information removed, email [email protected].

The demo and the Sample Company

The Sample Company is made up. Anything you do in it, or in the demo, is cleared when you leave, and nothing in it is sent to anyone.

Keeping things running

We work to keep Daykit available and your information safe, but we can't promise the site will always be available or free of mistakes. A firm's owner can download a backup of the firm from the Dashboard at any time, and we recommend doing that regularly.

Limits

Daykit and EOCO are not liable for losses that come from relying on the tools' numbers or from the site being unavailable, as far as the law allows.

Changes

We may update these terms as Daykit grows. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
